Thank you!Nice tutorial, very helpful, but I`ve got a question, you show how to create curtain wall with square in plan panels, but what if want to create rectangular(i mean longer than a square in one of the dimentions) or for example some kind of pattern made of hexagon elements.

You need to select the curtain wall and click on Edit in 3D. Then, on the Toolbox you will see only the tools related to curtain wall. Select the Junction tool and double-click on any grid intersection in the curtain wall to place the spider junction. You can also refer AC 16 Reference Guide from the help menu and check Pg.no - 1251 to 1254.

Very impressive. Please, can you make it clear for me, is there any chance to modify scheme grid in CW by deleting some posts? I mean if I'd like to get some irregular pattern?

It´s also possible to tell Archicad to automatically place spiders at all junctions, from inside the curtain panel specifications.

Hello Bimes Very good tutorial, thank you very much for that. but I'm still having a doubt!, I have Archicad 17, and can not find the option to "save custom component", and I find the option to create "custom curtain wall panel." in the "Libraries and Objects", I have only the option "Save selection as" if you can help me with this, I agradecere enough.

seems no one has the 'Save Custom Component' tool. Why cant I find it in the complete root menu of commands in ArchiCAD 18? is this a custom command you have created?
@Sneakerjunkie729 жыл бұрын
+Sneakerjunkie72 got it.... in later versions it is under /library and objects/save selection as/......(there all branched in the menu)window, door, curtain wall frame or panel etc. You need the Visualization work environment... the standard doesnt have these menu options.
