Thank you that was helpful, I'm trying it out and experimenting. But so far so good. I didn't however use the Material dependency, I don't know if this would cause nay problems or not. See I'm working on a smartwatch app but have been struggling to find a proper tutorial for a custom one.

First method : create that two number public static in MainActivity and you can access in dialog. access MainActivty.number1 or Mainactivity.number2 2. Send that number to Dialog class through constructor and there in dialog

You can change this. By using setCancelable(false) on the dialog By default it is set to true
