I know there are a few people complaining about how they don’t feel like this doll represents the Pokemon as well as it could. I have to disagree with that! Yes, Yvelta is the “Goddess of Destruction” but that doesn’t mean she has to look like some warrior in order to create the chaos and destruction. Think of the myth of the Apple of Discord. In Greek Mythology while Zeus was having a feast for all the Gods during the wedding of Peleus and Thetis. Eris (the goddess of strife and discord) tossed a golden apple into the middle of the party that was for the “most beautiful” of the Goddesses. Long story short it eventually led to the Trojan War! I can see this version of Yvelta doing something very similar!! She is cool and calculating but also knows how to poke and prod others to the point of war or a fight - thus leading to destruction! She does so in a way that it can never truly be linked back at her, but everyone knows that she is cause for it all. She is sly, cunning, and knows how to play both sides. To me this version, or at least what this doll made me think of, is rather genius! It is very out of the box and will make this doll stand out among any others that have been made or will be in the future!

Months later and I still got back to all these videos from this collab and im still so confused why people have such rude attitudes about Diana's video specifically? Like yeah, she didn't do much body modification, so? Dollmotion is known specifically for her body mods and Dollightful is known for her wild but amazing techniques. Diana just...isn't that type of crafter? It isn't fair to compare their styles. Like the criticisms about using a more intense expression are valid because that's a conscious choice, but how is going "this is boring because the other two were different!" Anything besides disrespectful? Diana is predominantly a crafter that makes FANTASTIC doll clothing and accessories. I don't think any doll artists really make clothing like she does and maybe some of you need to learn to appreciate different things. Just my two cents but a lot of these comments are unnecessary and rude.

What you could do next time for a more ‘dangerous’ look is make the eyes more hooded and darker in the inner corners. Drop the lash line a millimeter and go more intense with the eye shadow. The goal is to make the top of the eyes dark and intense forcing the them to look angry or malicious. Also you could crook one corner of the lips higher than the other to have a small smirk. This combined with the eyes can give a ‘I’m powerful and dangerous’ expression. Overall you did a marvelous job. I think a matte black on the horns ending in pitch black glitter would’ve made them pop but they look great now.

yeah, I agree with you. The doll is absolutely stunning and I love it! but I feel that the face is a bit too... soft? Yveltal gives off a very menacing vibe, maybe if you slanted the eyebrows and darkened them to be dark grey or black (to resemble the browbone of the pokemon) and made the eyes blue (without the whites around the iris, kinda looks like Storm from the X-men if you know what I mean), it would give her a more powerful presence. I also noticed that the mouth of Yveltal is a dark grey, maybe it would work better if the lips were black? However, I really like this doll and the elegance that comes with it! Great Job!

GIIIIIIRRRRRLL, where do I even begin?! First off, I alread loved your customs, but I think the MSC did make a HUGE difference. the gradients in her eyes were really pretty, the eye shadow was FABULOUS, the contouring is ON POINT, everything about her face up is just incredible and I'm super happy that you were able to get yourself a little bit of MSC. The dress is great, I love the embroidery work, her accessories are amazing... I have so many things that I can praise, I am just in love with this custom doll, especially since you were able to pull off such nice results with a bigger head because those are much harder to work with from what I've seen. The doll is part of a trio so it’s only natural to compare one to the other because they’re suppose to fit together. Two look more Pokémon then the other, that’s how people are seeing it. She did an amazing job and no doubt put a lot of effort into it, however not all projects work out the way you want it to, especially for the public to see. Nevertheless, it's an amazing doll. I just wouldn't have known it was a Pokémon. 🤷‍♀️

Eternity Quartz Actually, yes. The colour scheme, the horns, and the black vein designs set it off for me as either inspired by or a gijinka of Yveltal. Paying attention to the minor details of the doll allows you to associate the visual with something else. But this is what artist's rendition is all about. It may not look exactly like the Pokemon in question, but the smaller details allow you to figure out what or who it is.

She's absolutely gorgeous Diana! People may be complaining that she looks more high fashion than destructive I have to admit I don't think she would have suited it looks wise. Dolls are odd to work with and making one look hostile and destructive is quite difficult without it looking odd as dolls are almost always happy so our minds refuse to accept it. As for lack of millions of body mods I think it would have been a little hard to make it look perfect on the doll due to how the actual Pokemon looks. I'm done rambling now but my point was I really like her 😂

avie it sprays uneavenly, and bubbles a little on the face. I generally, very gently, pop the bubbles with a brush, and use it to soak up some places where it pools. It's a cheap enough substitute that I say try it, but it's no substitute for MSC. But then again I haven't tried it yet since upgrading my other supplies. I was using a crappy brand of pencils and pastels, so they didn't lay down as nicely. I had to use water with the pencils, but I don't know if it was because of the sealant, or the quality of the pencils themselves.

If I may offer some advice/critique, I'd say that if you want to make a character look more destructive, or evil, angling the eyebrows down (think angry brows) can really help, and with the right mouth it can come off as mischievous/destructive in that sense. And I, personally, would have given her thicker eyeliner and made the eyeshadow super dark. But other than that, she's positively magnificent! Also, I want that outfit in real life. And the attention to detail with the crystals on the veil is absolutely inspiring! All in all, great work! I look forward to seeing more from you, now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to watch the Chandelure video, because that pokemon is literally my aesthetic.

I personally love the outfit, the veil, and horns. You also picked the perfect colors for the job. It’s large and the pink color makes a great base for the rest of the doll and leave plenty of room for darker and mysterious makeup. And this is where we start leading into the negative... Although I think that outfit just fits the Pokémon so well, if the Pokémon was imagine as a human woman, but the face of seems to kind and gentle, unfitting of a Pokémon of distraction. If I were to change anything I would make the makeup a little bit more darker and give it smoky eyes, which would make the bright blue eyes to look bold and dramatic. I would also give in the eyes of little bit more of a sharper look. Also I know that a lot of the outfit is red and black, but I think the gray hair looks... not very fitting. The hair should’ve been black. I am aware the outfit itself is very dark already, but this is a very dark and distract Pokémon. All that in mind, i’ll give the doll about a 6/10. You’re still a very good doll maker I just think a lot of the design decisions were a little bit... off. I’m not a doll designer I’m not sure how hard it is to design and make a doll, but I do know is what could be done to improve future dolls who’s designs fall more into the darker spectrum as a visual artist/designer, though keep in mind I am quite young still have a lot to learn. Update: After looking at the design again, after checking out a reply I got, I realize that the hair shouldn’t be completely black and that maybe the original creator of the doll had an idea there. The Pokémon‘s original design there is a weird smoky fluff following Pokémon around near it’s neck line, which kind of resemble a smoky scarf. If that was what doll’s creator was trying to go for in the hair, the hair could of looked pretty cool. Of course the style and color of the hair still doesn’t fit design very well, as it is, but if it was black at the base and turn gray as it it flows down, and on that note was more flowy it could’ve looked pretty cool.

I'm quite impressed with the final outcome, and am quite satisfied for it does Yveltal (one of my favourite legendary Pokemon). However, since im a pokefan who loves Yveltal, I have a few nitpicks. Firstly, Yveltal's eyes are as reflective and overall as "alive" as you made them seem, and they had no pupils (I'm chocking this up to taking artistic liberty). Also, the fur around it's neck is a grey colour, not black. Other than that, I love love LOVE this doll. You've earned a subscription and a like with this.

Maybe to create a more intense and less placid expression, try making her lips more pursed, like there is less shadow between them and tilt the corners more level, rather than up, or in a downward direction. Tilt her eyebrows in more in a frown, rather than level in an innocent way. Finally, move the iris of her eyes more towards the top of her eye like she is looking at you with her head tilted down, and make her eyes seem wide open by playing down the line of her uppercrease. The bigger that crease is, the more closed her eyes look, so keep it small. Try all this in a sketch and you'll see what a fierce expression it makes. This doll came out beautiful, loving the dress!

I love the doll and all, but I feel like she was quite plain. Nothing about her had any special asset. Dollightful completely changed her doll in a beautifully creative way by making the doll antler head piece, the extra joint in the leg, the resin jewels, the inset eyes, and the lights inside the head to make it glow. Dollmotions doll had the amazing body sculpture that entirely changed the doll to make it into the image of the Pokemon, and the back piece to add to it. In my opinion, this doll had nothing special to make it into the image of the Pokemon.

Mr. Snoodle we all have to play to our strengths. It isn't very fair of you to make such broad comparisons when clearly, the only differences between these colaborations boil down to pure experience and/or time invested. Dollfairy decided to invest her time in the outfit and hand-stitched embroidery, which you can tell just by her voice over are her passion. Dollightful and DollMotion find their passion in sculpting and modifications. Opinion and quality of art are both relative here. You can't really say any one of these dolls is better than the other...only which doll customization you prefer.

Im not trying be rude or “hate” on this doll but it doesn’t really seem like a legendary destructive Pokemon. She seems like more of a Vampire Queen or a red carpet look.But don’t get me wrong she is an amazing doll but i don’t get the Pokemon vibe at all. And also i don’t want to sound picky but the other had more body construction and represented the Pokemon theme better and their character. If you asked me who or what this was, I would just say a very good high fashioned red carpet velvet doll. Maybe et least give her something that looks more like a bird type. And the actual Pokemon is not pink its more of a fierce red color. And this Pokemon seems more like a boy type.(just my opinion)I am not trying to hate on this doll at all and it is very beautiful but i just dont see a Pokemon in this.

I feel like a lot of people are saying her doll doesn’t compare to doll motions and dollightfuls dolls, which is completely wrong. While both of them focused more on body modifications, Diana focused on clothing which was very well made. She embroidered a dress, and rerooted an extremely hard surface. Honestly this doll is my favorite out of the three because of all the love and care she put in! Keep up the good work Diana!!!

Out of all of the legendary Pokémon repaints I’m torn between which one I love better!! All three were amazing and I loved watching Pokémon repaints. I’m used to repainting characters from anime, ones where I only need to use the saying “A little goes a long way” and It works. I’ve never even tried to do a Pokémon. But you guys pulled it off and did fantastic!! Thanks to you guys I’m stepping out of my comfort zone. Thank you, good job, and God bless. Hello Diana, I’ve found that mr super clear works pretty well in the cold. However, you will need to spray the doll and then leave it outside for 10 minutes and then you bring it in and it should be ready

After watching all of the pokemon videos I realized that all doll repainters ( is that what you call yourselves? 😂) don't have all the same talents. While some are customary like knowledge in painting, etc. Every channel is special in some way which blows me away how everyone is so amazing at something different than others!
