Creating dropdown select menu by this way we anymore can't use keyboard to focus on dropdown button or any option. We also can use button tag(with type="button") for dropdown button and radio inputs for our options. Because of this, we will have to change the JavaScript code (just use "change" event instead of "click" on options). UPD: I researched this question a little better. Using the button tag and radio inputs, we may encounter a conflict between the basic functionality and our. This means that in order to create a real custom drop down select menu, we have to recreate all the basic functionality using simple tags ("div" for example) and JavaScript. P.s. There may be some grammatical and syntactical mistakes due to my poor knowledge of English
