Nice to know Emma is working with you on this field. Hopefully on the next one she can make an actual appearance. Was nice to see all those combines lined up. And lastly Happy Birthday Mom.

We had rubarb in Indiana. It’s pretty sour, so you need to sweeten it with sugar. Love rubarb custard or rubarb cream pie.😊 Rubarb is not so popular here in TX. Happy Birthday, Shana! We share the same birthday, except I'm much, much older.😉 I turned 71 years old. I love your channel & Ag with Emma. Stay safe.😊❤

Rhubarb is a plant rose large stocks with very large leaves. You chop up the stocks into small pieces and put them in a pie. Along with strawberries and unsweetened strawberry Jell-O. You can also chop up the stalks and boil them on a stove and it makes a sauce, just add strawberry Jell-O that has artificial sweetener. I should’ve said artificial sweetener for the pie cello also. Sweets and Norwegians go crazy for rhubarb. If you don’t want to make a pie you can make a crumb crust in a 9 x 13 glass pan, fill it with rhubarb and artificially sweetened strawberry Jell-O and put more crumb on top. Bake it for about an hour at 3:50 and it makes a great dessert and snack. I’ve grown rhubarb for 70 years.

Rubar is presumably Rhubarb. We grow it in Ireland. Red stalks with large green leaves at the top. Eat the stalks. A bit bitter and you can dip it in sugar!

Rhubarb looks a lot like swiss chard but much bigger, best eaten when fairly young, you pull the stalks off the main crown of the plant, NEVER eat the leaves, they are toxic, you slice the stem into about one inch lengths then cook in a little water and plenty of sugar as rhubarb is very tart, I have had rhubarb stewed with custard, ice cream, cream and yoghurt, same goes for rhubarb tart, pie, and crumble

Look for "Greek Gods" yogurt. THE BEST. Vanilla Honey is the best. None of that yogurt tang. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM! You don't look a day over 39. What? No birthday ending? Very disappointed young lady! Thursday in my birthday. Almost double yours! Try the yogurt if you can find it. You can thank me later.

That leaf blower is a great way to remove dust and chaff. Probably a great way to prevent fires. ?? I have is how many acres of wheat does just this farmer have. I presume it is busheling above average.
@JulianKeller-om6wz4 ай бұрын
Sir... there is a golden rule in farming and ranching. You never ask a farmer how many acres he has, or a rancher how big his ranch is or how many cows he has. That's his business and no one elses. It's like asking you how much money you have in the bank, where you have money invested and how much. No disrespect. That's just how it is.

Fairly new to the channel, and I enjoy it very much. It’s well done and fun to watch. You did say something towards the end of this video about having to shut down harvest by sunset on Friday and that you wouldn’t be harvesting on Saturday…which raises the question of why? Is that some sort of regulation in that area of the country, personal reasons, other? It just stuck out to me and so I am curious.

Where I come from Oklahoma doesnt matter what day it is if you can cut you cut Iam sure there is a good reason why you have to be out of the field early Friday and cant cut on Saturday even with that there is always something to do Be Safe No rest for the wicked well until after fall crop them you can take a couple months off
@gavinperry72374 ай бұрын
Quitting early on Friday & not working on Saturday is a “Faith Base” decision by the farmer who owns the specific land they are currently harvesting on. On a previous video the G4 crew moved to another farmers field on Saturday where no restrictions were in place. Some farming operations will shut down on Sunday to give the crew a day off subject to how harvesting is progressing while other operations run 7 days a week subject to weather conditions.

Why do you have to be done before sundown on Friday and not work Saturday? It sounds like the farmer is either Jewish or seventh day Adventist. Am I correct on one of those or is there another reason?
