Yeah, but does it still work?! Lol Looks great, was it plastic before or painted plastic? Im sure your paint will stick fine on other paint but I was told by painters to use plastic paint on bare plastic to stick correctly. And they said never mix plastic paint with lexan paint for use on lexan. No expert here, just checking for my own info. I have a 4010 on the way and your red paint job sold me! Thank you.

It works! lol These chargers are just a colored plastic, no finish added from factory.

Thanks for the video. I have the 4010 and want to paint mine black. Wondering why you didn't just mask the screen, stickers and feet and use a razor knife to trim around the edges? Where the stickers and feet just as sticky as before you removed them? Thanks...

Have you ever thought about dying the plastic with Rit dye instead of painting? I know you would be limited to black because the case is almost black. At least it wouldn't get scratched.

Great job. Your camera work is always amazing. I was thinking about attaching a camera mount to a microphone boom stand for overheads. (I don't have a DSLR) How did you do your overhead shoots?

Thanks for the feedback homie! I used my gorilla tripod to hold my Sony RX100v pointed straight down from my shelf. If I didn't have a shelf, the boom/ camera mount setup would work if you can balance the weight!

I didn't remove the clear stickers on the decals or screen so you can paint it 1st than remove the clear protector after your done painting
