Your so good you make me sick! If you ever get a chance to read on old videos, just remember that me as a 30 year knifemaker still try to use your techniques of knife making. Your a great inspiration Nick! God Bless!

That's the cleanest bottle of Dykem I've ever seen. Mine is nearly completely blue, along with half of my workbench and usually my hands. ; )

Man your methods and homemade tools, fixtures etc. always inspire me, and of course your knives do too ;) I have a lack of motivation and energy a lot of the time but when I watch your vids I get motivated a get out and "try" to make a great knife :) Thanks again the vids, hope these continue even after you finish this Joe P series! Respected! You have some great ideas and ways to solve problems in your shop. It is inspiring. I just wanted to tell you that I wrote you on your e-mail and is something about 6150 steel, but still didn't get any answer... Is there any chance you could? Thanks! You make state of the art knives!

Hey Nick awesome vids can you share the specs on the pounding rod/tool you use to put these on? Thanks

Gilbert Ferro Gilbert- it's just some heavy plate welded up as a tube. You want something heavy enough to pound on, and with enough of a footing that it won't bend or mess up your guard stock. The one I use is based on a Tim Hancock and Mike Quesenberry idea. :)

Hey Nick, I'll reiterate great trick with the files, I was just reviewing a couple of your vid's and noticed on finish sanding #3 you reached behind you to control the speed on your disk sander, are you using 1 VFD to control multiple machines? Thanks for another great video, Cheers
