I'd love to see the more difficult Goldfish being painted, if it's anything like this lure it will be out of this world. I honestly can't think how you can improve on this lure!👍😷👍

I agree, but hope he does it. I have seen lot lures being painted but this has to be on top of my list of must have’s. Wish he sold them.

I will never get bored watching this video, the Goldfish lure has got to be my favourite lure by a country mile. This is the umpteenth time that I've watched this video, I will put up with your compressor as long as I can watch your videos it's the least I can do. I've got my Airbrush and compressor it's the lures I'm having problems with. I'm housebound so I can't go to the shop's. I've got some from eBay but they must be the smallest lures ever! They looked about 5" to 6" but without the bib they're just over 2"!!! Too small for me to handle and paint at same time I ended up giving them to a guy who I talk to on one of the forums. So I'm now searching for some exactly the same as the one in this video. That's what attracted me to your video a few weeks/months ago. What size split rings and size of the treble hooks do you use on these lures? The size of eye's would be handy eh lol. Take care my friend and have a great weekend 👍😷👍

Thanks for watching Andrew. "Ceder run outdoors" has great selection of blank lures you can check out. These small lures are definitely hard to handle sometimes. The eyes on that lure may be 6 or 6.5mm, hooks #4, I use offshore angler split rings #2 for the hooks and sometimes #2 and #3 on the line tie, and sometimes none on line tie. Blanks can be heated up to soften the plastic then use an exacto knife or a box cutter to separate the sides of the blanks.

I don't have an AIRBRUSH would it be possible to do this effect by dry brushing in layer's? Your lure painting is really good, second to none.

My buddy "RIC lure painting" airbrushes with inks sometimes. I have another goldfish I can paint but it isn't as good as the holographic lure, and has no candy paint.
