To address the line breaks. I went through this too. I switched lines, baits, hooks, weights, rods, reels, and finally I made the switch of knots. I now only use 65# braid for casting, 20# braid for spinning, 20# flouro casting, and 12# flouro for leaders. Also now I only use the Jimmy Houston knot. I only used the palomar before. Since then I havnt broken off at all. To the not uploading. We will always be here when you do. We enjoy when YOU enjoy making content and that’s what matters. Everyone thinks we want these extravagant videos. Yeah they are cool but we’d be happy with a small fishing sesh. For some content ideas, I’d like to see you get back on the yaks.

just as an informational you probably could fish the plain braid and get the bites. if the braid color is a problem for you always bring a black thick tip sharpie so you can blacken the line 5 foot all the way to the hook.

Man April is a hammer on the fish. Also maybe it’s fishing voodoo but I had been using academy H2ox EWG hooks and I was CONSTANTLY loosing fish like you guys. Switched to some regular gamakatsu offset worm hooks and ditched EWG hooks and made a big difference in the amount of fish that don’t get off

Check the eyes of the rod. One of my spinning rods was breaking on cast and when I looked the top eye had a crack that was cutting the line

With that many times your lines is breaking off, I'd check the eyelets on that new rod. Just make sure it doesn't have any edges that might fray or cut your line. It's happened to me before.

Yak...check the eyelets. If there is a little imperfection. It can nick your line. Probably not the case, but worth checking.

Switch to copolymer line with a fluorocarbon coating and you won't break off. I only use pline copolymer line.

Im using braided line to.. after i go for fishing 3 to 4 times , i wil cut the line like 6 feet.. i did that because when we check the line it is hairy because there is a layer of the line that broken due to being hit by grass or something like that..
