looking great again, the colour brings out the shapes! :) good choice on wheels, too. I snatched a box full of 62 mustang castings off ebay, and along with them were 7 of those in various shapes of shabby to near-mint, also the version with the oversized V-8, and 5 of the original boss Mustang, and 6 piston poppers... and a few others. made me think of a sudden mass-restoration Matchbox Mark style. XD

Holy smokes, Rob. I would absolutely love to have this vehicle in real life, it's a great looking van. The color concept, is sweet! If I owned one, it would be a hunter green, in that sheen :) I hope this is restoration is still around, bringing joy to you. I am going to try and hunt one down. I got a 65 Falcon when I was 15 and my dad and I painted it two weeks before my 16th birthday. It was supposed to be a steel blue but turned out that exact shade of blue-purple so I love it!

I like several things about this car. I believe its inspired in some custom cars of the 70s. The colour you chose is period correct. The wheels are much like on those cars of the time, featured in Hot Rod magazine or Car Craft. You really are reimagining some of these cars better than the manufacturers!

94.27 % . Little bit of heat works wonders. You can actually take it to about 480 degrees before danger of melting. Casting looks part mustang, part gremlin but very cool. Came out very nice. Stay safe Rob.

My little piece of heaven is under threat from wildfires, I live on the edge of the Willamette( Will-am-it ) National Forest, we are at level one (get ready to leave). Mate I hope this gets no worse. I have confidence in our firefighters. I am 64 years old and have actually been through this kind of thing a couple of times before so we shall remain calm and confident, right up until I panic and run like hell. Rob, I will keep you informed as conditions allow. No worries at this point, wish us luck
