This is a really unique figure! The likeness is very close to the original “Kenner” figure. I always wanted a SMDM figure on the scale of my “Mego” figures so they could have adventures together.

Nice find. I have one also but on a regular Mego body. It came with a custom 8 inch Kenner style box and the same outfit. I think someone was making these outfits some time ago. The Head sculpt looks similar to Bionic Joes but not exactly.

Kenner, or whatever the Company is called now, would do well to re-issue this toy line. I picked up the Bif Bang Pow reissues of 2012, and they sold fast and now cost a fortune on Ebay. Bionic toys are still a hot commodity. Nuh Nuh Nuh Nuh Nuh......

Had the 12" Kenner SMDM with the V8 engine in the late 70's/early 80's. Last week ik bought such one again on Ebay, so i have a bit of my youth back. As far as i know here in Europe only the 12" Kenner/Denys Fisher was sold.
