Being able to complain (56:28) about having to do a hot restart (which takes just a sec) instead of a hot reload is what makes Flutter the best framework.

This really highlights how difficult and unintuitive it can be dealing with the flutter framework. Although, I must say, it is nice seeing that I am not the only one banging my head against the wall lol

Well, I mean, I haven't tried to figure out custom screen transitions with zero prep in an hour in any other framework, but my guess is it wouldn't be all that much less confusing. Flutter doesn't make screen transitions easy, that's for sure, but I always try to set my expectations according to context. One of the Boring Show's main goals is exactly this: show how you get in trouble, and how you work your way out of it. In real time, without previous preparation, without editing out the confusion and the bad stuff you encounter on your way. I literally haven't used PageRouteBuilder until the recording of the show. That is to say, I am skeptical about your "difficult and unintuitive" evaluation, unless you mean "as difficult and unintuitive as any programming environment can be given a task like that". But I literally haven't tried this in other frameworks. Do you have an example of someone doing a similar thing in another framework that is significantly easier and/or more intuitive?
