Looks like he used Krylon adheres to plastic Red Pepper colored paint. I advise sand your figures down before you paint them.

I dobt remember where I got my tools other than hobby lobby and Amazon. I keep em around for a while. As for disassembly, I knocked out pins and pulled screws till I got the parts i wanted.

You can use clay to fix his window. Or cut a piece out of the packaging window to fit in his windshield, then glue it down and painted it.
