I used to have a '91 YJ and I turned the back seat around by fabricating my own brackets and installing 3-point seat belts. My kids loved it!

I always like it when Jay does stuff like this, especially when the product is unique. My wife's last car was a Volvo Station Wagon with 3rd row seating for our kids, it was getting a little long in the tooth so I replaced it with a W124 Mercedes 300TE with rear facing 3rd row seating as well, the kids love it. I've never been big on the SUV thing due to the higher roll center and like station wagons for the wife/kids.

I looked up this company and they are out of business. Their seats apparently did not meet FMVSS. The NHTSA has a consumer advisory warning not to use their seats. Ouch!

Love it. LOL we didn't even have the country squire with the rear facing seats. I can't count how many times I hid in the cargo area when family was in town and we all wanted to go somewhere and there was no more seat belted seats. I can't believe my parents allowed us to do that.

Hi Jay, I was sorry to hear that Seldon Loring died in a small plane crash a few days ago. I know you worked for him in 1972, because I was there too. You were upstairs with Seldon and I was downstairs with Dan Garahan, in the service department. Did you take a blue Silver Cloud Shooting Brake to Andover? I got yelled at because of an extra 78 miles on the odometer. That car still belongs to the Larz Anderson Automobile Museum. I'm a docent there and I'll be seeing that car in a little over an hour. or you could go to scrap yard and buy rear seats leather for like $150 and pay that again or do it yourself to have it installed and save around 600

some people will do that, but some people want to buy new stuff. most people simply don't have the time to get to the junkyard, find a seat, unbolt it, drag it out, get it reupholstered, and finally install it in their vehicle.

A lot of good stuff pops into my favorite junkyard disturbingly often. Audi A4's, A6's, VW's, Preludes, Sprinters, heavy duty trucks, even a Mini Cooper. Of course it does have the typical stuff like pontiacs, accords, etc, etc. But I've made a decent amount of money over the years off the good stuff.

Will always support American made products and the family owned and operated businesses, however if you advertise you match the bench to the vehicles upholstery you may want to not put a charcoal cloth bench into a Rubicon with red leather upholstery....

+BunnehFuFu Might not be an American person? For some reason the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is marketed as a Jeep Rubicon and only the 2 door model is marketed as the Jeep Wrangler in some Asian markets. Well, Korea at the very least does.

This product is awesome.. small pop operation trying to make it in a corporate world, why not support them. Made in USA safe I've heard story's of roll over accidents kids came out with minor scratches, owners purchased a new lps seat for their new vehicle.. Buisness started by local Oakland police officer with Firefighter buddy's, made this product with their family in mind so of course it's built to protect the precious cargo in the back!

This company took my required down payment of 380.00 and never produced my seat and never refunded my money. Then , later sent an email saying they were going out of business and would issue refunds. Of course they never did.

Hello to all. just so you know a 3rd row seat is great, but one thing for sure. who ever seats on the back just like how the seats are in this video. they will feel nauseous and might throw up. especially if kids sit on the back. all seats must face forward so no one can get nauseous.
