How could I link finish size of parts to bom list?

Is there a possibility to somehow link item numbers from BOM to parts so that the the item number and the ballon written in an assembly drawing is also provided in part drawing automatically. And so if I reorder parts in BOM and item numbers for specific parts change, I get the same change in part drawing as well.
