Today's video we have a look at my latest customs for an 89 Michael Keaton Batman. One is using the Batman figure from the Batmobile Gold Label 2-pack with the cowl from the Mezco 1:12 89 Batman and the other is a custom from a Three Jokers Batman.

The mezco definitely proved to be the go-to for making the McFarlane 89 Batman reach its potential. I can't say I saw your video or someone sharing your video but definitely saw this custom pop up a few times on my timelines which made the decision to find the mezco worth it. Thanks for watching!

Amazing!! Your custom is the best 1989 batman custom I ever seen. It’s easy to ignore the part can‘t see but you didn’t 👍 every parts of your custom is perfect and the matt finish on the body is spot on. Look so sick! Nice job!! I think you could make 1992 batman as well using the flash Berry’s variant body and some kitbashing. I love too see more your custom 👍👍😀

Thank you for the comments, much appreciated! I still want to add a pleather cape to these to complete the look. As far as the '92 Batman using the Flash from Barry II, I've seen others do it but the body is too thin IMO and throws it off. I'm sure at some point McFarlane will release a wave from the Batman Returns movie. Thanks for watching!

Hopefully, McFarlane revisits this Batman figure and gives us one that’s more accurate.

I definitely believe we are getting a wave for the 89 movie, Todd would be dumb not to do so, especially if we get the Nicholson Joker. However don't expect a change with the headsculpt, just a rubber cape instead. Thanks for watching!

People make it seem that the McFarlane headsculpt is the worst thing ever. For a figure that comes with the Batmobile, it’s pretty darn good.

The criticism is warranted IMO considering if you look at some other movie figures in the Multiverse line the sculpts look almost spot on to the actors. The Kilmer and Clooney headsculpts were on the money even with the articulated necks. Also, just because the figure came with a vehicle it shouldn't be a compromise. Its not the worst thing ever, but, even if it was, it shouldn't be an excuse. Thanks for watching!

I used the same Bobby pin trick on my figuarts 89 Batman! for my 3 jokers black suit I used rit dye synthetic jet black to dye the figure and for the first few months after it was super black but once it started to fade as figure dying does it turned kinda bronze but still almost black so having dyed the figure first I went ahead and painted the figure with actual black paint and the only part I swapped was the head for the black hush head!

How long did the dye last? I've contemplated it a few times but wasn't 100% sure about the duration since most videos I've seen about the process they never give a follow up about the dye wearing off. I guess it depends on the plastic it's applied to. Thanks for watching!

@@erickshobbiesncustoms5775 about a year before I noticed it wasn't as black but it was still pretty black after 2 years I only recently painted the whole thing just to make sure it didn't fade any more if but it didn't change much if at all in the past year, dying it actually worked out perfectly because you don't have to paint the joints and worry about paint rub anywhere really!

Hey thanks for watching! I haven't tried fitting the Mezco hands on the McFarlane but I don't think they will fit or look good since the Mezco is a true 1:12 scale while McFarlane's are 7"+.

how did you saw down the neck, im fixing to start one of these and im looking to see how to do it, im probably gonna glue mine on though just any tips would be helpful
