+Brent Pattingale This is the second comment about copyrighting so I thought I would address it. Technically all what I did was take a photo off Google that was not was not copyrighted and enlarged it. You can still see the ripped shrink wrapping on the elephants nose. I have supported Mike V by buying three of his boards over the years, last time I check this graphic was never offered on a long board. I did not mass produce this board, there is only one and it’s hanging on the wall in my home office. Not trying to hate on you, you must like skateboard and you watched my video so thank you. But by your thought process anyone you prints any image/photo from Google Images would be stealing. What about all the Powell Peralta tattoos out there, were those stolen too?

The fact that you are printing a board with his name and a graphic that was offered on any board is in fact theft! The fact that you only made one for personally use only means that the copyright holder will likely not waste time and money on a lawsuit. But you can bet your ass that if you sold any, they would come after you.

I work for a large format printer so I was able to print it at work. I used a solvent ink printer.

Since he never answered you, as a sign designer I can tell you it was probably printed on a 3M or Oracal high performance vinyl (since it's being used for boats), which is pretty costly to get. Better to go to a sign shop and ask them to print it for you instead. Hope that helps.

So you just went and stole the graphic from powell, bought a cheap blank board, and just heat transfered the graphic on to the blank board. Instead of buying a board from Mike V's skateboard company and show some support to your " fave skater ". That's a total shame dude.
