I grew up in Central New York around Many amish in the mohawk valley. It is ben over twenty years and from what I understand they are flourishing in the area buying up failed dairy farms. I am very interested in how they do things. So your channel has been very inspirational and formative.

I remember doing this on the farm I worked on. They had a drying bin to put them through. Thanks for sharing this video. Watching your videos takes me back to my farming days. Some of the best years I had.

I did this with my beans when I milked cows the only thing you needed on roasting day was a salt shaker, nothing better than warm salty soybeans.

I worked on that farm when I was 15-18. A lot has changed! Elmer is making it happen! Aaron Stoltzfus

🇮🇪☘️🇺🇸 thank you for such a wonderful lesson!!!! How I love the chug chug of the machinery it’s like a calming heartbeat…a dear friend farmer of mine raised them I just never made it over during his harvest, was busy rolling my fields & getting my birds ( chickens-ducks & geese ) set for winter,,, but damn now I know why he smelled so yummy! LMAO old gnarly soft spoken southern gentleman. He’d wander over & set with my boys as they dressed out ordered birds , he’d get a bird & i,d get freash rennet. Bartering was just like breathing, made sure everyone had what they needed, kept everyone attached and aware of what was happening. My the Ancients & the One Great One help bring us back to such gentle love for each other
