There isn't even enough space anywhere on it to put a battery as large as a car battery...Just put 4 or 6 smaller rechargeable batteries in it. Wire them in series so the voltage is added together. 4 batteries would be 4 times the volts turn the motor @ 4 times the speed. All that empty bed space would be perfect to allow for this kind of mod, and they would be covered up by the new cover over the bed(:
