56 is definitely the most unique design. Only year of the f100 that wasn't the same as any other year. The wrap around windshield is what made it so sought after.

@@MySiGGYSAUERRR the 57 is a one year only truck also. The 58, 59, and 60 all had double headlights whereas the 57 had the single. That is a good looking truck also.

@@granadojl you do realize that regardless of where he got his chassis, or any other parts, this truck was still built, don't you? I've owned a customs shop for 19 years and if a customer comes to me with a chassis to use for a build, I still have to build the car. We've built plenty of custom frames, we've also used plenty of other chassis's for our builds. It's always up to the customer. But, again, the vehicles still have to be built around the chassis.

I beg to differ - check out the FORD so-called 'GODZILLA" engine - to me - it sounds better. Also - easy to build a 427 cu in CLEVELAND these days and with EFI etc - a neato engine - to me - these sound better than the COYOTE - but each to their own - HA - some like the sound of a MAZDA rotary - HA. HA - and - not sure the NISSAN SKYLINE GTR guys will agree with the "GODZILLA" name being 'stolen'.

My mate built a similar - but using a later F truck chassis - the front axle is further forward and with the wheel opening cut out and moved forward - the side view loses that somewhat "I am going to trip over my drooping nose' look that that series F truck can sometimes have. Worth considering if you are ever going to build one.

Really nice truck, I just can't get past the comment "don't need windscreen wipers I'm not going to drive it in the rain, such a shame. Here in Australia we just had an award for car of the year. The guy that won it wasn't necessarily the most showy car/truck but he won it because he drives it all the time, he does errands like going to shops etc. Here is Australia we don't like trailer queens, cars are built to be driven. Nice truck though. I do like the door fabrication.
