Man, you crazy riding so fast on curvy country roads with sand patches and possible animals running over the road. Me, i only open up when I can see all around for miles so I wont see my arse. Also opening her up on a corner is risky as that back tire will slide out a tad with all that torque. You mad hatter haha

Nice vmax bro I ride an 85 and I love it and fear it at the same time. Fastest I ever had mine was 135 Saturday morning 4am interstate. It had much more in it to and I eased my way slowly up to 135 cause no traffic so I used vboost when I was at 85 dropped to like 3rd mans gave half power so 6500 to 7000 I was I taking it easy but I think it definitely would have topped out at low 150s. Its rejeted with a header and airbox.

i had an 86 vmax that i hit around 152 mph with a couple times. the buffeting was so bad i thought i was going to die but at least i could say that i pegged it

I just saw your cedar creek video. That's right in my back yard. run the bike trail between West Newton and Cedar Creek all the time. I didn't know there was another max in the area, I've had mine since 2004.

I heard vmax are bad in corners. Have you done anything to the bike to better its handling?

The Vmax just simply wasn't designed for high speed cornering, that being said its better than you might think for something that is a "cruiser". A good set of tires helps too.

They're better in corners than their reputation claims. It more they get unpredictable when you're cornering really hard, long story short anyways. It's part of the fun with VMax bikes though haha. Like JontheBear said they're better than most cruisers at cornering.

Much like the 600lb XS1100, some proper tires, front fork brace, good rear shocks and a 1-1.5" drop make them about 25-40% more capable in corners! You'd be surprised my friend. Just trust the bike and don't ask for more than it can deliver. Know its limit, and your own.

I've found that the rear wheel weight lifts the bike so , I hate saying this as its my pet hate , apply some back brake to sit its ass down and wind it on, you really can tip them in. Had mine 10 yrs now. Full power with T-Boost :-)

Has anyone done a unequal length 4 in to 1? Love the sound of this one from low to mid range but when it gets higher i could hear that same annoying pitch like most mopeds. Nice bike bro hope you don’t sell it.
