Would actually be helpful if he explained what he's doing as I'm just trying to get through the thumb and pink spots and mine is not working the same man 😅 won't cross correctly and no one apparently does commentary on these

try square knots on the spiral and fingers. More leather plus better flexibility to tighten or loosen the lace for the customer. also eliminate the knot by the thumb (inner lace). Tie it down as you're doing on the rest of the lace around the heel.

​@@DurhamGloveRepair looks like it. I don't pop any new holes or anything crazy. I just use existing holes to make it work. I enjoy modifying glove to make them stronger (more leather) by switching to square knots, plus removing completely unnecessary knots especially catcher's/1st base mitt. I prefer a clean strong glove. I'm sure you do the similar things after doing this as long as you have too.

How did the relace take?

If your asking how long, usually around 3-4 for the whole process ( clean, condition, relace). For just the relacing, around an hour.
