That's awful for someone to do, I'm a hair stylist in Middlebury so I totally get it unfortunately people coming in don't or they just don't care that our time is money, because we're not just standing there having a good time with them we have to pay for our space.They don't understand half our funds go toward us being able to do their hair. Super happy you got your money back

I’m a former salon owner and it happened to me. One of my stylists did a correcting color on a women who purchased quite a bit of retail as well, paid by check $400, and the check bounced. At first I gave her the benefit of the doubt because some people are just irresponsible and don’t manage their money properly. After multiple attempts to contact her by phone and email, I left messages being nice at first and then said “I will have to contact the police if I don’t hear from you.” She never responded so I called the police, they went to her house to just talk to her. Within an hour she called with a lame story about her son being in the hospital and she couldn’t believe I had called the police on her. Then her mother called and paid with her credit card over the phone.

I just love Gina!!!!! What a total badass!!!! Thank god you have such an amazing woman on your side!! I luckily work for a brand salon and it hasn’t happened to me..... YET!!!! But I have seen it happen to other stylist.

I dodged a known scam artist, thankfully I knew this person had done this to two artists that I know. If I hadn’t known her history I would have gone through exactly what you went through. I’m almost curious if it’s the same woman.

It’s happen to me to I think We should immediately report that to the police and fallow up with attorney if we don’t stop Dose criminals they will go salon to salon and restaurant to restaurant and doing it over and over.
