There are so many templates available for customer journey maps. How do you know which is best? That's what you're going to learn in this video.

Templates can be very useful. They can speed your process up and get your faster results.
But if you're not careful you'll be spending more time figuring out which template to use rather than mapping the actual journey. That's not what you want.
In this video you'll see 3 templates provided by Miro, Custellence and Nielsen Norman. And also what individual their pros and cons are.
By learning what to take into account when deciding upon a customer journey map template you'll be able to pick the right one for your next project in an instant.

Great video and accompanying article. In the past I have taken what I like from a multitude of templates and created my own, currently using Mural and I have created my own template to help kickstart journey mapping workshop etc. Also for me the key is, what you touched on at the end, understanding the purpose of the journey map for you and stour organisation/client. Then pick or build a template to fit that purpose.

Yes, knowing why you want to create a map in the first place makes it a lot easier to pick (or build) a template.

Yes it applies to all the templates of the world. May I ask a question, have you tried Miro and if so what is the difference between Miro and Mural?

@@granand I have used both Miro and Mural. They have similar features and both probably have their own pros and cons, which I can't recall (last time I used Miro was a few years ago). I do like the speed to competency on Mural, it has a great tutorial and help function which has helped me when ups killing colleagues.

Hey Sir, I noticed the first template from Miro has been updated from when you did this video. could you take a look at it to confirm if you would recommend it for evolving a startup

Hey Marc, Instead of small doses of pearls of advise, do you have an affordable course, where you have put every thing together to take skills from whatever to your certified level ? By the way, I am not from service Service industry like selling stuff, websites, promotions. My idea of service is embedded, telecom service, Applications being developed so users can use it etc
