Hi Danny, thanks for revisiting Din Tai Fung. I agree that Shang Artisan is the better choice for Braised Beef Noodle Soup. The one on Flamingo is in a new expanded location much larger than the old cramped smaller place.

It’s rather small……the XLB is rather small. Oh my gosh I laughed out loud! Ok Danny - next time I’m in Vegas, I will invite you to DTF and order what I like and then we can go to XL Dumpling and test your theory. Hope you are up to the challenge! I eat Solo at Din Tai Fung with Casino Comps. I order Braised Beef Noodle Soup, Cucumber Salad, BabyBack Ribs and Creamtop Green Tea is my staple. I sometimes don't even order the soup dumplings. I see too many people order soup dumplings and then some veggie and they seem so bamboozled.

Ha! Of course it's always better when you put it inside. Priceless your reaction to the cucumber salad suggestion. Din Tai Fung is almost always a "go-to" when we are in Vegas. Soy sauce or salt is your umami for a lot of the foods you eat.

Mmm Cucumber salad! Mine that I like to make is with thinly sliced cucumbers and red onions, white wine vinegar, honey, salt and fresh ground pepper, and fresh dill and chives. So flavorful and refreshing! Yum!

Back at the Ding Tai Fung, lol the two female made you lose focus for second. Tap water, yes expand your menu options! No cucumber for video…lol. Soup dumplings not my 1st choice 🥟. S&S ribs, looked darker than usual, and yes old style presentation. Hmmm, with soya sauce better? Where’s the white rice 🍚. Beef noodle soup, looked great. 😀. Beef? If you ever get to go to Hawaii, while in Hawaii never say, "you like beef?" Local Hawaiian jargon means you're looking for a fight. Next goal for DTM would be to get a car, would that make your vlogs, "meals on wheels?" Anyway, go for that car Danny and the world will be at your feet and not under your feet. No more excessive, "walking the walk." That car could be considered a business expense when filing taxes.

Xiao Long Bao is their specialty, but the crab & Kurobuta pork ones have to be the best, so I think you missed out. Crab guys. Crab. 🤣 A friend once said beef noodle soup is lucky, but I'm not a soup guy, so I ordered beef with rice at the Noodle Shop at Mandalay Bay. We went to play slots and he won like a boss and I lost my... Proof positive beef noodle soup is lucky. 🍀🤣

Well Manny, I'm still in NY & the prices to eat out or take-out are insane. That's what happens when everyone gets $15+/hr just for showing up. You get $15-20+ appetizers & soups, rather than the entrees. Portions of meat are smaller, dumplings are small, quality & flavour is going downhill everywhere. Remember when pizza & wings were free during "happy hour" & mixed drinks around $3.50? I'm starting to sound like a mid to late 40-something man. Ohh yeah, I am..🥴. Thanks for sharing your meal adventures..👍
