I'm a firm believer of hanging up on a "guest" once they start calling you names. And in person walking away. I'm a manager at my place and I don't let anyone talk down on my workers or me.

I used to work at a pharmacy and I've had a LOT of customers yell at me for just doing my job, the worst one being a man who told me to go EDUCATE myself because I refused to disclose private information about his partner that he was not allowed to access without her consent. I have a Bachelor's degree, a Master's and I'm almost done with my MBA. SIT YO ASS DOWN SIR

I have lost all patience.. Can't tell you the amount of times I've given rude customers a taste of thier own medicine, as unprofessional and immature of me to do so I eventually stoped living by the motto (customers always right) ... Granted it definitely depends on your job what you can and can not get away with and yes I've been in trouble for it but I have to say it feels dam good and I basically say the things everyone wished they could 🫣🙃

It’s not always entitled to ask for what you need tho. The target in Seattle is a mess. I have a SD I have autism. The manger there don’t do shit about it. I’ve reported it multiple times that there’s pets at your store and they don’t really care. The dogs at target have even attacked my service dog and they did nothing.

I used to work at target a couple years ago and I’m literally telling you that place made me suicidal, the WORST establishment I’ve ever worked for. Costumers are rude, entitled, and condescending. Meanwhile management does not stick up for their employees, for anyone reading this, there’s a million better jobs.

Beginning of the video reminded of something that happened to me. I’m a hair twirler, as well as a leg shaker, and a ring fidgeter. Fifth grade math, Mrs. Mohan: I was twirling my hair and I am not the best at math, so she said in front of everyone, “stop trying to look cute in front of the boys and focus on your work. Stop messing with your hair.” I’ll never forget that. I grab strands without even thinking about it and I always have, for as long as I can remember

This is what happens to people who don’t have a backbone. Employees have rights too. If a customer crosses a line, it’s the employee’s responsibility to refuse service, bring it up with their manager/supervisor IMMEDIATELY and proceed up the chain of command if the issue isn’t resolved. It’s simple, really, but not to those who have low confidence and low self esteem.

I worked at a beauty supply store in my early twenties and I’ve had so many rude and just entitled people. One guy told me “time is of the essence” as I’m ringing his things out. Mind you, at the time this beauty supply store did not have scanners. So I had to manually plug in every product by the sku number. 😅 I had another lady that came in looking for curly hair products but didn’t know what she needed. I started out by asking what she’s used before and she said idk. Then I tried showing her some products and explain what they do and she was just not receptive to anything I was saying to her and then proceeded to tell me I speak too loud. If you know me you know that’s ridiculous Lmao. Asked for the manager. I was happy to walk away 🤭 I’ve had money thrown on the counter. I’ve had people mad at me for asking for ID back then we were required to match cards to ID. Retail is rough. Also…that lady that grabbed your hands deserved her hands slapped. Who tf does that?!?!?! Ew.

When I was 20 I worked in the tech department at target. Never again, simple because of the customers. This is exactly why I can't work retail. I did food service, and that was enough for me. Having to approach people and walk them to their location would be so stressful. I hate having to ask for help, and I only ask for help if I REALLY need it. I get that you can, and you're SUPPOSED to, but if you know you need help and the person around you is DOING something, just walk up and ask. Don't be a weirdo and just walk in circles around them, hoping they notice you. 😂 I'm crying laughing at how you sound like a hillbilly character from South Park pretending to be that man. LOL.

I moved to a safer area recently- y'know where we don't hear gunshots every night- and found a new job at a pricey home decor store. We have a table at the front door with a sign for our members to get 50% off on the items on that table ONLY. This lady came in to check out with like 12 items and asked me to price check all of them to make sure they were 50% off. No problem, so I did. They were all full price. She explains why she thought they were all 50% off with "Oh I thought that sign meant the entire store was 50% off" ... what? we ain't going out of business what do you meeean 😂 But I explain what that sign means and how that one table works with our membership of course, and she just agrees that she wants all 12 items even though it's full price. She then brings up the 50% off thing again to the other lady she was with and they're not understanding for some reason, so she tells me to get a manager over here to explain it better. So I do! He comes over, says the same thing I just told her, and leaves. Not even kidding you barely a minute after my manager walked away she mumbles to me "speak English". Those rose-tinted glasses of being in a nicer area wore off real quick. I told a coworker what happened while I was just in shock that she said that to me, and my manager came back to check on me. It's not the worst thing that has happened to me in retail, but it's fresh and she hit me pretty hard because I thought I was safe now.

Managers who think their minimum wage retail jobs are the most important things in the world are literally the worst. I had a manager at Staples who, after I gave my 2 weeks, wouldn't give me proof of employment for my residency for university because she only does that for "current employees." I said aight then I'm not coming to work for my last 2 weeks since I'm not employed by you lol. She went on this while rant about how this will heavily effect my entire career and show that I'm not reliable blah blah. Anyways, I just leave off Staples from my job history now and literally no one has ever once asked me about it 😂

I worked at Target & they nit pick the f*** out of everything. I was called treat like shit by my assistant managers AND my manager. They LOVED the high school kids, but as someone who was 26 with 2 kids, they treat me incredibly horrid! My customers were majority amazing, I only had 2 negative experiences. I love being in customer service BUT I hated the coworkers/bosses. They treat older people (older than high school) like shit. They also would purposely not give you full time hours too. Target is a great place to work for high school individuals whom are responsible lol

This video triggered me a tiny bit because I know all too well how crappy customer service could be. People complain about customer service but they don’t know the mental nutcases that a lot of customer service reps have to deal with. People want good service but are very entitled, rude and try to treat customer service/people who work with the public as punching bags. People are starting to get tired of the bs and are going on to bigger/better things.

I’m a human I’ll speak to up professionally but I will not put up with you being rude and entitled. My go to is “ma’am if you’re going to speak to me like that I can get someone else to help you but I will not be putting up with being talked to like I’m less than, I’m also a person. So if you’d like help please ask rather than demand.” They get a reality check and my manager has gotten into saying it.

One time when I was in the fourth grade I always had the habit of tying my shoe laces as tight as i could. I would tie them over and over maybe like 7 times a day. On one occasion my teacher got so frustrated and called me to the front of the class. Keep in mind i was never a trouble maker. I always gave my best. I would even bring this teacher gifts from time to time. Anyways, he called me to the front and grabbed his scissors and was about to cut my shoe laces of. My family was broke those were the only shoes I had and you could see in his face he thought twice about what he was going to do. He chose not to cut them. Then he told me to go back to my seat but he said that if i continued to do that he would cut them. At that time i was so scared that if i told my parents i would get in trouble but i wish i would have because that is just wrong. I love you so much Nikki i have been watching you since i was in middle school and i am now a senior in high school. ❤

I don't know if you have been in a store recently, but you cannot find an employee and if by some chance you do find an employee they are on their cell phones. If they are not on their cell phones they are giggling with their friends, asleep, standing in a corner, standing in the way, ignoring you, doing everything they want...except their job. I never ask for help, I search the internet for product questions, I call the 1-800 customer service number, and then pick up the item from the store. I do anything I can to avoid speaking to the employees.

I really hate when someone tells me that something I’m doing with my body ie leg bouncing tapping wringing my hands is annoying them 🥴 because how is what I’m doing to myself with my own body affecting you . Yes I verbally let them have it. Yep I worked at target😂 and didn’t put up with foolishness. I know if she would touch me I would have flipped out.
