I work in car rental and you would not believe some of the stuff that happens to our cars. Just today I dealt with a Fusion with a back door that won't latch. It literally just bounces back open when you try to close it. Currently it is being held shut by the seatbelt on that side so we can drive it somewhere for repair. My current favorite is the Corolla where someone cut the seatbelt in half, and then glued the ends back together.

Nevertheless I was successful in extracting the broken bolts and cut the welds off of the chain, and had to cut the ratchet strap since the ratchet was perma rusted together. I'm betting the kid done a 6 grand dump on the clutch to break the bolts. The case was surprisingly not cracked anywhere too since I had plenty of time to inspect it. Man, this one has to take the Hackery award from all the others i have seen. Whole lot of jank going on in this one. Like WTF even was that mess on the first one, so many straps i couldn't tell what was holding what on... 🤣

I had a barricaded person just don the street from my home earlier this year. I've seen what a police MRAP can do to a house. They slapped a breach bar on that thing and I am amazed what it did to the garage door. So yeah, you definitely don't want to be on the receiving end of one of those things!

The first clip reminds me of my late stepson when he was in his early 20s. He purchased his first car, a used one, and he didn't get it inspected first. When we lifted the hood, the engine block was being held in place by a spiderweb of hemp rope!

It won't make a difference. People will just drive around without getting an inspection or pay under the table to get a pass. Unless you are going to confiscate people's cars. I see people every day with months expired paper tags or no tags. No one cares.

Just gotta put this out there, that "Police" vehicle at the end is not the answer to crime, all it's going to do is empower the police to be more ruthless against marginalized communities. The money spent on that vehicle could have gone to hiring social workers

There will always be people who spit in the face of authority. More government isn't the answer. Enforcement of law and order and a strong church are the answers.

@@TehButterflyEffect You do realize you're advocating for Authoritarianism and Theocracy, right? The stuff of Dystopian movies, ever heard of V for Vendetta? Yeah, that's what you are wanting. I'm wanting a system where Human well-being is placed above profits, and having a literal military vehicle to scare people out of doing crimes isn't that. If people were just given the basic necessities to live, you'll watch most crime statistics vanish. Poverty, Low Education and desperation breathes crime, which can be fixed by again changing to a system that puts Human Well-being first

This channel is a prime example of why your should always get a PRE-purchase inspection. You never know what the previous owner has done to a vehicle. Or just as bad in some cases, what the previous owners didn't do!

If you can contact the shop about the gorrilla glued door... Model airplane fuel dissolves the glue. It might damage the paint... It's kind of slow, but it turns the Gorilla Glue into a jelly-like goo. I am not sure which component dissolves the glue, but the oil keeps it from re-hardening for a while. Slow drip "glow fuel" on the glue.
