Keep your head up Anne, it's a daily battle here... every single day. I've been into art since I was a kid, in the 70's and 80's I lived for crafting/painting, etc.... then I joined the NZ Army. Years later I also finally opened my own restaurant, after ten years of saving and dreaming, only to lose everything 9 months later in the devastating earthquakes here from 2010 onwards. I now use my art, to help focus my noisy wandering tenants, in an attempt to get them all working together, on one project (haha, yeah, that works so well)... but it does help keep my head quieter than usual. As for other peoples opinions of us.... I'm keeping it friendly, but you know. Get that house!!

I keep telling myself that other people's opinion of me isn't any of my business, but ignoring it can be easier said than done. 😅

Those little things brought the whole doll house to life, it's truly spectacular, you never cease to amaze me with your creativity Anne. I'm always sure good thing will eventually happen to good people like you, all of these things that happened to you will only make you stronger, it always hurt when people you thought were close to you hurt, I got downsized from my job in the past, my boss who I was close to her and her family was the one who chose to let me go without even a notice, my colleagues stopped reaching out to me for no reason, I just learn that sometimes people tend to be harmful without realizing it, it happened quite often that it stopped bothering me to a degree, and made me understand not take anything lightly because I might do the same to others unintentionally. Anyway, you're a great and amazing person Anne and deserve only the best friend, I hope you'll feel better in no time.

Thank you so much! 💖 I'm not upset that my friend moved, I know why she did it and I completely support her, I'm upset about the fiction people spread about her move. I'm sure most of these things wouldn't bother me as much as they do if I didn't have anxiety, but I also know my anxiety makes me more sympathetic to other people, so I guess it's a fair trade.

I've lived with anxiety and depression all my life. Creativity is a wonderful way of dealing with whatever life throws you. Love your channels and videos. Can't wait to see what you do next.

I was diagnosed in my 30's, but I've had it in one form or another since I was a kid, they just didn't call it anxiety back then lol. Thank you so much for watching, and your sweet comment. I'm so happy you're enjoying my content! 💕

@@HotMessMiniatures You are most welcome. My mom used to say insanity doesn't run in our family, it gallops. (Quote from Arsenic and Old Lace, I believe.) :-)

Absolutely loving that corrugated steel. Your kit bash is 10x better than the original. It was SO nice to "hang out" and just listen to your story. I won't lie, I went and made a NEW cup of coffee just to listen and enjoy this coffee shop story time video. The main thing I heard was that even though you have faced a lot of uncertainty and some downright rudeness from others... You have pushed onwards and done what's best for everyone around you. Your mental heath, your family, your clients. I think that just speaks to your character as a person. I, selfishly, hope the story time format continues! You deserve all the success that comes your way my friend. 🌹

You're gonna make me cry. You're one of the people here I mentioned, just in case you didn't know it. 💖 I'm glad you liked it, and I hope someday we can actually sit down for coffee together. Thank you so much for being your sweet self!

Is somebody cutting onions in here? 🤗 This was a great video! Truth and all. My wife and I both have anxiety so this all feels quite familiar. It's hard for us to make new friends so we always have this joke when we meet someone else where we say "Can we just skip the boring talk and tell each other are traumatic stories in life?" Thanks for keeping it real! Also, the kit turned out beautifully! I really want to get trinkets like that without buying them from Michael's😩 Well done and glad you didn't disappear!

They need to make random bead and weird junk grab bags for miniaturists. lol If you don't want to buy from Michael's, try hitting up garage sales and Goodwill type shops in your area. You can usually get old jewelry that you can take apart, snaps and things off of clothing, and even broken electronics usually have some nifty bits inside when you take them apart that can be repurposed for mini making. I'm so glad you liked the video, I was worried I'd be boring everyone to tears. 😅

I'm so sorry. Why do people feel the need to make crap up???? And worse, they make it up and tell other people! Why??!!! I'm glad you got a profit on the sale of your business. Hopefully things will start to calm down for you. Hugs.

We bought a nice house with a HUGE yard with the profits from the sale of my business, and I have no regrets. I've been working for someone else for awhile now (which is why I haven't been able to make new content, there just aren't enough hours in the day to work and edit video lol), but I'm starting to formulate a new business plan to go off on my own again soon. My husband predicted I wasn't going to be happy being an employee rather than an employer for very long. 😂 Thank you so much for your kind words. I kind of forget I went off the rails for the narration of this video, so kudos to you for getting through it! 💖

Not yet. Unfortunately, this project didn't quite make it through my move. It needs some TLC before I can go back to it. I do hope to finish the series soonish, and I'm so glad you found it worth watching up to this point! 💖

I also suffer from depression. I'm currently on some medication that allows me to feel normal. I retired almost 2 months ago and now I'm out of sorts. All the things I wanted to do, I nolonger have any interest in doing. Im not unhappy about retiring. Retirement is an adjustment I have to get use to.

It's tough! The last few years have been hard on everyone, and when you have life changes happening, good or bad, it can really mess with your mental health. I'm still figuring out who the new version of me is. Hopefully you'll find the things that bring you joy as well. ❤
