Can you please do another longer full set with the flex 6 then maybe talk while you’re doing your set? I think that would be awesome! You can do with the volume of the music down low so you can hear what you are saying pretty well and if you want to after keep the video going, so you can hear everything without you talking or a separate video! By the way this is the best DJ I have ever heard! 🙏🏻

I'm trying to teach a student this units features but they are whack as. The merger fx stop the tracks when you exit the merge fx. I mean that's great for a chop mix out but how do we get the thing to keep playing the same deck the fx on. Makes no sense at all to me, I've used many ddjs but this one is a bit meh

Merge FX is designed as a transition tool. That’s why it stops the track. But if you wish to use it continuously, you can use deck 3 or 4, instead of on the track you are playing on.

Hi guy, I'm from Mauritius 🇲🇺 Island. I have an flx6 and I don't know what I touch I completely change the settings of the merge fx. I.e. when you press the knob you hear a beat first and then you turn on left for the effect. I reset but nothing has changed. Where I must go to get the original settings when I purchased? Sorry to hear! What you can do is set your Merge FX settings back to default. If you pause the video at 2:12, the default Merge FX settings are listed.

No it can’t be avoided. Merge FX is a transitional tool and is meant to be used to create a transition to the next track to be played.

What are the best fx settings for merge fx on Serato?

In Serato, Merge FX is fixed and cannot be changed customized. You do however have the option to switch to 4 different types of Merge FX by toggling the selector button.

hi , i have an other problem with mapping on rekordbox, on my FLX4 the FX2 BEAT UP/DOWN ar not responding suddenly so i wanted to remap it becasue reset to default did not work, i tested the flx4 with midiOX and knob working fine. so when i deleted the FX2 beat up and down for remapping a message says that its already mapped to FX1 .i notest that the mapping name of fx2 was differnet than fx1 wil ther is only one knopg for this on the flx4 so how do i map fx1 and 2 to the same knob ?

I find it really odd the way they thought this merger affects through. I feel like you should have the ability to stop the delay at the end of the track carry on on the same on the same as the merger.

It’s intended to be a transition tool into the next song. Either by creating a buildup, or an advanced echo out to go into a different tempo.
