if you try to burn real leather nothing will happen, there are a few other ways to tell if something is real leather, the smell is a dead give away

Rub two sections together and if it makes a "creaking" sound, then it's real leather. Anything can be treated to smell like leather, so my method is more reliable. Plus, leather is pretty heavy and thick. You can also test a section with medium grade sandpaper. PU will rip and tear while leather will only lose its coloration and not really scuff much.

If I ever come across a leather jacket at a thrift store I'm going to have to copy this. Came here from reddit, btw. The only feedback I'd offer is that you seem a little stiff on camera it's not off putting or anything just a bit rambly. Definitely compensated by the over all content. Well done.
