Customizing Charity Shop/Thrift Store Paintings With FIRE!!!!

So today I thought I'd try my hand at customizing charity shop/thrift store paintings, and not just customize them with regular art materials, but try and blast them with a little fire too! Now I'm not sure whether my customization skills added any value to any of these paintings from the charity shop/thrift store, however I did have a lot of fun turning what I found to be quite boring images, into something a little more exciting! I actually think customizing paintings from the charity shop or thrift store is quite a cool idea, you could obviously do loads more stuff with them like collage, and even cutting parts of the paintings out etc. And if all else fails just set them on fire!....just make sure you do it safely!! But feel free to let me know which customized painting was your favourite in the comments below! And let me know if this is something you'd like to try at some point!

Ant, to take your eye down and sooth it, try using a used teabag, but NOT one that has hax any milk on it. Let the teabag cool down and try laying it while it's slightly wet on your eye, you can either wipe your eye with it or just lay down with it on your eye for a half hour or so. Keep on using the teabag therapy till you need to see your gp. As it will ease both the swelling and the oozing of the eye. Tea has tannin in it which dries the eyes and eases irritation in them. I've used tea bags to ease all sorts of eye issues in the past and it's completely safe. I hope that helps you hun. Love the painting you burned. Very different, and very conceptional in style. You can really tell you're an artist at heart! I must say, I'm surprised you didn't turn the air balloon into a Cadburys chocolate orange like you did the other one. A good home remedy for a sty is a flannel soaked in water as hot as you can handle, held against it. Keep refreshing the water if it cools, and this should help release the sty (kind of like a little spot). 😎

Being an autistic charity I’d say they have the shop quiet to avoid sensory overload, a lot of our supermarkets have set hours so people with autism can go more easily. I love the way your brain went with the paintings!!!! People take art way too seriously and these are now perfect 😂

You look fabulous in those sunnies Ant. 😍The googly eyes and .chocolate orange feast won it for me! My friend and I went once around our houses adding googly eyes to whatever we wanted (photos, kitchen door, prints, etc.) and it was fabulous fun. Some of my pot plants still have them on but I took them off my photo of grandma because it was just wrong to leave them there. 😂 I wonder if the googly eye thing was a subconscious reaction to your own eye issue? 😂😂😂. Hope it went away on its own. Btw that teabag suggestion is a valid thing. I’ve heard it before many times ❤ Big hugs as always ❤

I love Daisy Chain! I go every time I visit Team Valley for a mooch around (was literally there on Monday spending far too much in Hobbycraft on art supplies I absolutely don't need 😅). Anthony, there's a Daisy Chain shop on Portrack Lane in Stockton too - it's huge by UK charity shop standards. I was in there the other week as I drove around the North East giving out free chocolate oranges in the hope of luring you out... I digress. The Terry's Chocolate Orange picture was THE BEST. If I lived anywhere near you, I'd totally pay you to get that Terry's Chocolate orange painting off your hands. I just about DIED when you showed it off. I need something like that in my life. (I've had eye styes before, they are NOT fun. Do a hot, wet compress several times a day. I'd just do a facecloth and then soak it with hot tap water slightly hotter than usual, slap it onto your face, it should go away. Also antibiotic eye gels. Usually clears it up real quick)

Hi Ant, when you have to pee as soon as you sit in your car, it just could be a pinched nerve in your lower spine. I Had this Problem for over a decade, and i went worse and worse after time. It turned out to be a slipped disc in my lumbar spine. Take Care , and get Well soon Dahling❤

Oh my, I hope your gummy eye is feeling better by now. The sunglasses suit you! You are giving even more Johnny Depp vibes with them! And somehow it is quite fitting to the autism shop you went to: It is typical that there comes a higher sensitivity to any sensory input with autism.
