What kind of paint did you use and how do you make sure it doesnt chip off? I feel like giving this a try🤘

You should! I used Apple Barrel acrylics and Vellejo Metal Color for all the silver bits. I also sealed everything with a matte clear coat to prevent chipping. Hope this helps!

@@duecejaygaming Thanks! I'm just using basic colors and mixing them myself until I get what I'm after. And yes! I don't show it on camera, but I'm usually sealing the figures in a clear matte coat after painting (but BEFORE I add the UV resin to the eyes).

I find it odd you didn’t add chains to mikey’s weapons.

I didn't add chains to the nunchaku for a few reasons: 1) For this display, Mikey's weapons are sheathed behind him and not particularly visible anyway. 2) If I added chains to the nunchaku, I would want to add chains to ALL the Turtles' chained weapons for consistency, and this would not have been feasible for the weapons attached to the sprues-they would have lost their shape and/or display aesthetic. 3) I actually like the way the plastic chains were molded for these figures, and they match the movie's art style better than whatever real-chain solution I could have come up with. Hope this explains my reasoning!
