Customizing Your Ork Army: Dozens of Tricks.

One tip I'd give especially to Ork players (but other crafters as well): Keep the sprues. You can easily make all kinds of crazy ork constructions and bionics out of that. The ork style is so rough and rickety it should be pretty easy as conversion projects go.

I don't play 40k but I really like the conversions, creative and inspiring. Hero clicks do come clean really well in acetone, i use a jar witha lid toss them in shake well and brush off. If they go soft I just washed them off and they harden back up. Thanks for making videos all these years and hopefully for more to come.

If "trust the process" was ever a person. I have just started an ork army and I'm building and resizing ALL OF THEM.... lets just say green stuff is being used in a "modest" amount.🤣 But seriously I am giving them larger arms and legs to make them more menacing.Im also using spare weapons and armor parts from other armies to keep true to their nature of looting and shooting. Might create some Prime Orks as well. Thanks for the inspiration.🤘

Not even into 40K but have to say I enjoyed all your builds. That buff Ork I could hear him being called Ahhhhnold Very entertaining as always well done Dave. Could get into 40K if the armies builds instead of points and expensive GW models you'd build on a dollar amount. :) You'd have one hell of a kick ass army going already. Your hot glue artillery came in at least a buck or two in materials I'd imagine. Love the low low cost great looking things you come up with.

Hey man, loved the video. I've looked on Ebay for ork lots like you said, however I cant find bags like what you have. Is that just a collection you have over time or did you buy that much at once!? What I've seen is kinda expensive. I build and paint mixed orks, I don't play just create ork madness!

As much a I like the idea I don't hulk leading an ork army would work. Hulk maybe a giant nigh indestructible rage monster but he ultimately just wants to be left alone. He's more like to run from a fight involving the military and only attack if their in his way or draw his his attention. Orks on the other hand thrive for war since its encoded into their dna to create weapons and seek violence out violence and fighting. It could work if Hulk was infected by ork spores and started to crave war and violence like they did but otherwise I think he'd just hate them and smash their ramshackle vehicles into pieces.

It's not super glue gel, it's silicone and you will be able to literally bend your Miniature from side to side where you glued it to the base.

I have personally glued a model and a piece of terrain using it when I was a novice hobbyist. The miniature was painted and then about a month it, picking it up the head flexed with the silicone based glue. I realized the arms and legs had the same "silicone caulking" cure. I checked the terrain after, the walls could bend and flex and everything. All the paint started cracking and it was a nightmare. I would never recommend this glue for the hobby. 🤷🏻‍♂️

The Warboss in mega armor is, the weirdboy is, the painboy is, and the terrain is, so more than half are. The other project includes lots of non GW parts so yeah, they might be a problem depending on the tournament.

@@MiniatureMashUp I feel like most of the people arguing what's "tournament legal" don't actually play in that many major tournaments. If you gave a base to the track guy and made sure the weapons were WYSIWYG, they'd 100% be tournament legal at any non GW run event (which is most of the big ones). I'd still ask for a judge's permission ahead of time, but I've seen people get away with far worse.
