Man I have no clue on how to thank you. Being a cradle fan and beginner guitarist i find it a struggle to learn songs since the internet tabs are pure bullshit. You are a life saver! Stay blessed my friend!

This is not a song. It's opus..structured composition. This was something I love Cradle for. Still love, although the composition capabilities&ambitions are rather low then there in 90s or 00s. Then it was atmosphere creating blackmetal,labyrinth of sounds and emotions creating goosebumps on first listen.

Hey, thanks for all the tabs! I quit guitar back in the day because it was impossible to find tabs for extreme metal, and if there were some, then they were highly incorrect...But do you have the tabs for Bathory Aria as well?
@Santi_Lloret2 жыл бұрын
Hi! I don't have the tab, but I think I can make it. Just give me some time. I will upload it when I have it

Wow! Your cover is the first I've heard so far that really nails the ultra-deep and rich guitar tone on that album. If I may ask, what is your recording setup for this video in terms of guitar, amp, pedals, FX, (or amp sims?). Whatever it is, it sounds absolutely amazing and your recording skills and playing skills are top knotch.
@Santi_Lloret6 жыл бұрын
Thank you! The setup is: - Guitar: ESP Horizon with Seymour Duncan JB bridge pickup - Palmer Pan 01 Pro DI Box: I use this to divide the signal. One goes to an amplifier, just to hear me while playing. The other goes to the computer audio interface, for recording. - Computer audio interface: Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 This way I record the clean signal from the guitar. Then I apply amp sim in the computer: - Poulin LE456 Amp sim, with different setting for each guitar. - Poulin LePou2 cabinet, loaded with two simoultaneous different IR for each guitar (four different IR in total). I usually try with different IR for each recording, so I don't exactly remember what I used in this case. Then mix the two guitars and the real song and that's all.

Close, but you've done what Richard Shaw did (maybe he learnt from this vid lol) and dropped a few notes every few bars compared to the original. You play guitar better than I can though or I'd pop up a vid! But for example, have a listen again around 5:40, there are about 5 notes you've missed out entirely in the end of that riff...

Hi! Thank you for listening and the comment! But I don’t see your point. I have listened again to the riff around 5:40 and I think it is ok. Isolating the right channel, the only thing I have noticed now is that maybe I should have changed to D one octave lower (string 6 / fret 0) after playing the first D in string 5 / fret 7 at the beginning of the riff. Isolating the left channel, I think it is “correct”. Only small melody fills between the chords. Maybe you are listening to the keyboards? There are a lot of keyboards that play more notes than the guitars, making different voices and full melody.
