So true, my childhood wooden railway Edward is in such poor shape, he was probably my fav, his boiler fell off, the smoke box can do a 360, and has chipped paint. I loved him

What a lot of Edwards at the beginning. Also, for some of these kind of C sized battery powered engines, they often lost their battery coal cover. Maybe someone can make a mold of that as a replacement.

have you ever done any retrobriting to reverse the effects of the discolored plastic from the sun?

Is easy, just get the same paint as itself, then place the masking tape on the part that is already painted. Then spary the paint that’s all, if is still green then keep painted it till is livery shown

@@tomyrail7468 that would most likely leave a paint lip from the masking tape, and there's a high possibility the colors wouldn't match. you mind as well repaint the whole shell.

Comrade OpThomas the Hedgehog you can tell by the color of the traction tires because the Tomy traction tires are brown or sometimes almost white and the hit toys company ones are kind of gray!

I recommend something, as the Edward's faces are yellowish and the plastics too, I recommend doing the procedure that people do who rinse their old consoles, since using a box, a line of UV lights and oxygen peroxide they leave them as a jewel
