Sadly it looks like the comments are not moderated. For several months folks have been asking about the SVG file to be fixed and it has not been fixed.

How do you get rid of the burnt wood smell?

Wiping them down with rubbing alcohol to remove char and sealing them with a clear coat such as acrylic sealer, polycrylic, modpodge or beeswax protects the paint/wood and reduces burnt smell.
