Here's an idea for this video, have images of Cut Chemist with and without dreadlocks. And have the rappers talking about CC's (white guy) MIS-appropriation of the African/Black American culture, in this case, the Rastafarian and his dreadlocks as religious identification and commitment to JAH. And how CC grew/wore and ultimately disabused/removed the sacred dreadlocks that the Rastafarian maintains throughout life. CC couldn't even abide by these standards and cast off his locks because he finally realized how stupid deadlocks look (and if you will, act on one's appearance). Why didn't CC realize what a major cultural aesthetic faux pas he was making when he decided to wear dreadlocks? Because he fell into the white man's pathetic desire to "fit in" with the black culture he was trying to represent. Stealing a black cultural art form (rap/hiphop dj) and through wearing dreadlocks it would give an impression or look like he was "really down" with the culture. Please CC, explain why you once grew/wore dreadlocks and why you discontinued wearing them. Not only are dreadlocks poor form for a white/jew/caucasion to adorn oneself with, to imbue one's person with an identity not natural to your original culture. Perhaps, you realized how unhygienic and silly you looked and felt wearing dreadlocks.
