Hey guys! I'd love to get your thoughts on this style of video! Some people like to learn by watching and often times there's a lot that gets missed when we make a lot of edits to the video or speed up the planting/arranging! Is this sort of thing helpful?

I do enjoy watching the process. Some things like watching you line all those cement pots up down your driveway aren't necessary. I love how y'all edited that, by the way! But when it comes to seeing how you arrange flowers and plants, bring it on. Also, I loved hearing the chickens and the dove and other birds while you made this arrangement. It was very peaceful, entertaining and a great learning experience. I cannot believe you made it all the way through without an assist from Russell!🤣 I loved this visual training! Thanks for always thinking of new/different ways to present all you guys have to offer!!!❤🌞

You know something Laura? Watching you reminds me of myself a good few years ago (as I'm sure it does a lot of the ladies that watch you) - being a loving wife, mother, housekeeper and plain hard worker - along with, and for me personally, your love of all things gardening. Also, probably like quite a few of the other people who watch you, life has thrown a number of unpleasant things at my family and myself over the past 10 years or so and for quite a lot of that time, I have felt super stressed at trying to be super woman to help everyone get through and over everything that has occured. Then, joy of joys, I discovered your channel a couple of months or so ago and a wonderful thing has happened. I am rediscovering my love of gardening and the pleasure and relaxation that it brings. Therefore I would just like to say a huge thank you to yourself, Aaron, cute little Benjamin, your wonderful and loving parents, Russell, Cheddar and your beautiful garden - for helping me to regain some light in my life after what has been a tough few years. I just thoroughly enjoy all of your work on here and sincerely hope that you will be able to carry on brightening the day for so many people for a long time to come. Thank you again for all of your effort and hard work. ❤

OMG Laura! This was such a beautiful video. The peace of no sound except for the birds chirping and you cutting floral stems. I felt like I was there with you. I had to stop what I was doing just to watch closely like I was watching an artist. This was beautiful and I thoroughly enjoyed watching, so much that I needed to watch it a second time. When you were cutting the first greenery stems it looked as though you were slicing up the center of the stem, I think this is so that they drink water, but how do you know which stems you need to cut this way when making arrangements?
@3in2Art4 жыл бұрын
I was also wondering why there were more cuts on some of the stems - is that because they were evergreens?

Listening to all of the bird and rooster sounds in your video adds to the sense of serenity I feel while watching you work. I see why you don’t listen to anything else while you work. Just you and the flowers. I loved it. Thank you for letting me accompany you on my lockdown journey. I was watching “The British Baking Show” and told my husband that 2021 would be the “Year of the Pie”, making all kinds and perfecting my skills in crusts and fillings and trying new ideas. Then I discovered you! It is now “The Year of the Garden”! Put out 41 jugs for winter sowing and 31 have sprouted! I live outside Minneapolis and I couldn’t believe they didn’t die! I will fill 9 seed starter trays tomorrow. I love watching your videos, feeling like I’m becoming a part of a family, watching Benjamin grow and becoming more engaged with you, the birth of beautiful Samantha Grace, and thoroughly enjoying the increased presence of Aaron and your back and forth interactions. God bless and thank you for saving my waistline from too many pies! 😁

How did I miss this video? You've obviously received our message of wanting more like this loud and clear. This is the kind of video I could watch over and over again, seeing something new each time. I love to arrange flowers and love watching others arrange them almost as much. The colors you chose are in my favorite combination, which is just a bonus. Looking forward to lots more like this now that you have your new cutting garden. Beautiful. ~ Lisa

A quiet, contemplative Laura teaching simply by doing-very inspiring. The ease and sureness as you stripped the excess foliage from the stems made me smile. Beautiful arrangement, loved no words but could hear you thinking. Inspired me to make an arrangement tomorrow for my friend in a retirement home. Oh it is helpful to stand on one foot and bounce up and down then make a little growl, from then on the flowers seem to behave!

Its helpful to see the finished arrangement and then watch how it was put together. Sometimes its good to watch someone elses process without words. People get in a rush too much and dont learn from observing often enough. Thinking things through while your doing that, brings another dimension to arranging. Its also relaxing to hear the birds and watch you at work.
