I have some 4 o’clocks popping up in places that I didn’t plant them. They’re staying because I love the fragrance and hopefully I will have more volunteers next year. 🌺💚🙃

I too struggle with not wanting to move/not wanting to pull out plants. Sometimes it just needs to be done! For native plants, there's probably at least one native plant society in your area that can help you out, and your local extension definitely can. I can't wait to see what you plant!

I always enjoy brown eyed susans, rudbeckia triloba. For me it grows as a biennial, short the first year and tall and flowering the 2nd. it reseeds itself.
