This is awesome. I have the ML63 W164 with the M156 engine. I straight piped my exhaust too. No Cats (Not sure if this is legal in the US, In south africa we dont have these restrictions) no resonator. All straight pipe. Sounds insane. Will be doing a stage 2 tune as well. That will make it come alive...

The problem is you don't have downpipes is the issue I have the same car I left everything the same put I added downpipe with the co2 sensors adapter for the check engine light

I have an ML63 and I want it to remain classy, not try and make it sound ghetto or 1970s US Muscle...Nothing is more ridiculous than an obnoxious sounding Euro SUV....Its goes against what they are.... Buy a US SUV if you want it to sound like that...
