Finally... common sense prevails! A single ply without cutting each bag individually. Works for me. Subscribing now! 👍💖

So like.... This is the absolute best method I've seen so far. I'm working on making thin plarn rope to use to make a fishnet market bag and this is so helpful!

I am so glad I stumbled on this, as I haven't cut my first plarn bag! Do you happen to have a yoga mat crochet pattern? Thanks so much!!

Sorry, I can't read crochet patterns, so I can't share them. There are many great crochet patter videos out there to choose from though!

Excellent! Thank you. Does anyone have a method for making plarn that is just the backs of bags so that you don't get the store logo and will have clean, solid colors?
@laurabarber66975 жыл бұрын
Could you direct me to link to the project you're making at the very end of this video? I like the shape of the bottom of the bag! Thank you
You can use single strands, it makes a finer pattern. I make purses, so I like them to be a bit on the thicker side for durability. I use single strands when crocheting pet place mats as it allows me to create different designs easier. I weld flat plastic bags to the back using an iron and parchment paper for stiffening.
