Nice throttle control through that boulder canyon at 1:45. It was interesting seeing the driving style differences between the lighter Jeeps that used throttle up the hills, vs methodical crawling from the full-size rigs.

Hey Aussie4wheelers, really enjoy your vids. Would love to know whats done to that td42 as far engine work? Sounds way too tuff. Its got 40s with 4.6 ratios, with the td42 does it really need the reduction gears ? Thanks mate 👍
@AussieFourWheelers7 жыл бұрын
It has 4.88 diff ratios and yes, reduction gears are always needed for controlled rock crawling. At this time it had an 11mm pump, just got upgraded to 12mm now 😉

fantastic. That cut was made for getting a 4WD through I reckon. They fit in like a key in a lock, Good to see you back behind the wheel again. It easy to see why this track is classed as hard. Those little light body Wranglers look like they would have been as bouncy as all f...I mean heck. At 9:53, I thought you had put the vid in reverse! hehe. Another great video. One question. Why did you even bother to wash the car? hehe. Anyway, get out there amongst it. Cheers guys!

Mad comment once again 😊😊😊 I love your sense of humour. If it's one comment I look forward to seeing, it's yours! The Wranglers were from older footage that I didn't upload for some reason (hence I included them now), they did the Cut Rock section already in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jZKplYWKoLuCY5o. Hahaha, reverse. He did it so comfortably that even I thought during editing that people might think it's in reverse LOL. Why did I wash the car? HAHAHA, new trip. It stays dirty until 2 days before a new trip lol. Call me crazy, I don't know HAHAHA. Thanks for watching and leaving a great comment once again, and glad you enjoyed it.

Thanks once again bud 👍👍👍 You're right, I've been avoiding this trail for years and finally ended up doing it. Thanks to the spotter, all went good. Just a slight touch on the left rear quarter, but no damage.
