Happy to see your test shows excellent edge retention. I love my cub and couldn't believe how long the edge lasted. After about 2 weeks of normal use it was still popping hairs!

As of just now I snagged one of these slicers, for 119. Not aluminum handles though. It’s the Blade HQ exclusive smoked textured ultem. Wanted an aluminum one pretty bad but couldn’t find the slicer blade in stock in any of them, they also have non textured smoked ultem for 115 right now! (All in 20cv)

Im currently waiting on a parcel to get dropped at my place with this knife in it( clip point aluminum handle version- but also got a lil native, dlt exclusive i believe wit 20cv and green g10 or whatever. I know ive seen the same test from you with this knife as well. I intend to return one. After using both for a while which do you think you'd choose for general edc. Great test! Would you recommend this over the Flytanium Arcade or AD20.5? Just got a Sage 5 and am still looking for the "one and only" knife to carry.

Definitely over the Arcade. As far as the 20.5, it’s great too. The Cub is slicier, and the 20.5 is more heavy duty.

The 20.5 in milled titanium with a shark foot in 20cv went super fast on the Demko site. I assume this 20cv steel is replacing the 3V in the 20.5. Thank you for testing the Demko 20cv looks like it will cut. I am surprised the microscope steel guys that believe if your heat treat isn’t at a specific number their knives’ will fail haven’t trolled you yet. Lmao….oh the amateur arm chair metal alchemist special group…

@@MAGR1994 behind the edge measurement is only one part of sliceyness!! Blade stock thickness is even more important. Glad ya like it 🤠

@@doodysdaggers that’s what I thought. In paper the blade is even thinner than the Pyrite I believe. And also pulled the trigger because I carry the Sencut Tynan a lot 0.35” handle thickness and the Shark Cub is 0.36”.

Update. Just received it!! (Being from PR it took a while). It has a little horizontal blade play. I don’t have my t10 with me right now but as soon as I get home I will tighten the pivot. Hopefully the action doesn’t change to much. Now is perfect.

Love my shark cub too! Got the titanium slicer unlike you plebeians with aluminium 😂. Knew you would like it, put it next to your native 5 and the similarities are obvious, almost the exact same size and blade/handle ratio, forward choils on both and both have a super utilitarian drop point blade They’ve done a much better job on the plunge and sharpening choil too And the price is way better, I got my Ti/20cv one for the same price as the g10/s35vn ones were Overall I am liking this lil guy way more than the 20.5 and I really like my 20.5!
