If you haven’t checked it out yet because you watch you do a review on (Built with foam) shim system. I used to wet shim like you. i’ll still add plenty of thin set behind the foam board where the shower door goes but man this system is pretty awesome. Takes a little minute to get used to, but I’m hooked.

Please put a wrench to that small grinder wheel to tighten it. You made my nuts run inside my body when you tightened it by hand. Only reason I say that because I seen them fly off twice when apprentices do that. Miracle nobody got hurt either time
