Use industrial strength vinegars with high acidity (20% or higher--not for human consumption) to clean countertops or grills or shower tiles. Stronger vinegar than the 5% vinegar for salads, etc. is needed to make the tough jobs easier. Won't have to scrub as much. These stronger vinegars are available on Amazon.

Please explain: What was the vinegar and red onion used for? And also what was the “lemon mint” mixture used for? Thank you.

The vinegar "pickles" the onions. To store, or use in salads or on sandwiches. Many people add spices and things to it as well, but that's a very basic way. I think the lemon mint was a freshening spray, either for linens or a room. Similar to an essential oil.

There are a lot of your methods which I don’t agree with. Not all of them require vinegar. What happened to plain soap & water when wiping out fridge? Also for oven top. For window runners I vacuum then use a damp cloth followed by dry one. I was a house cleaner for 20 years. My opinion you have yours. 😉

I agree totally, but I think the vinegar helps not only to clean, but if you have persistent odors. In the ice box it helps, or for pets, cigarette smoke. It helps sometimes with strong cooking odors too 😊 But I've found soap cleans just about anything 😉
