Good job! Thanks for the video. Do you know if there are some external tools to manange Rubrics in Canvas? I was asked to help teachers to pick a Rubric but you can only get them from the main account and the courses they teach. Is there a repository of good Rubrics somewhere?

Hey! I am currently not familiar with any Rubric External Tools yet. There is a way to share Rubrics with teachers. I would create a Sandbox course (a course with no students) and share it with your teachers. This course would only include the Rubrics you wish to share. Once teachers are added to the course, they then will have access to these Rubrics! They can even view them within their own course, not even needing to ever access the Sandbox course. Hope this helps!

Thank you! Rubrics are no fun, but now I see its use in Canvas as all my student feedback can be replaced by the rubric and then I can add a different layer of feedback. Also getting the students to focus on the rubric in the first place can avoid those errors listed within it; and then can make different types of errors, haha.

@@Snakegrrl_Sociology Absolutely! Rubrics are not that fun … lol 😆 but definitely offer so many benefits in the long run! My next video I’ll be posted later today reviews the updated redesign version of Rubrics coming to Canvas! SO MANY MORE OPTIONS - which makes them easier to use! Exciting stuff 🎉 hope you will watch 💕

@@canvaslmsqueen Thank you! I'm definitely going to watch! I'm actually looking forward to my school's Canvas bootcamp just so I get out of my typical faculty rut, and learn these new tools and learn new ways to engage my classes. Especially as we need to keep ahead of students and their advances in tech usage in our classes.
