@@miipmiipmiip Arguably, the best way to be responsible is to not take them at all.
@Jay-or5ex4 жыл бұрын
@@miipmiipmiip I think you missed my point. Also,eating food (which is a necessity and something you are naturally born into) is very different from taking drugs. Which goes back to the point. The best way of being responsible is staying clean. There's no other way that tops being clean. EDIT: I'm not saying its not okay to be curious about drugs and try them recreationally, but I am stating that the staying clean and not following the whole curiosity killed a cat/entertaining and indulging is the best way to stay safe. (With a few exceptions, like medically needing it.)
@Jay-or5ex4 жыл бұрын
@@miipmiipmiip Yes, I knew about LSD. As myself, I'm someone with diagnosed PTSD and partake on the usage of Anti-depressants such as Zoloft aka Sertraline. All the while recreationally but rarely partaking on the usage of MJ. Here's the straw man to your argument. You began comparing drugs to alcohol and cigarettes. Which no doubt both substances are harmful and addictive. But staying clean eliminates those potentials. Now, I'm not saying all drugs are dangerous, but if I were to use your point against you and your straw man argument, I can then say, "instead of taking recreational drugs, just use alcohol and cigarettes responsibly." But both are harmful. That includes some drugs to specific people. There is information that is constantly spread. But unfortunately, the truth is: Its just information. People regardless will do what they want no matter if the information they gain will give them temporary satisfaction. They will indulge in that behavior moreso. Hence why, I would advocate against recreationally using drugs as a way to medicate yourself before actually seeking professional help. Being clean is the best way. Also; with the same message to LSD, Vaping pens, and MJ. Studies and cases for the youth need more research and time for brain development. (I, am part of that spectrum. But again, with professional advice and acknowledging the time wasted associated with MJ - its often used to treat my insomnia on extreme cases, which wasn't suggested at first by my Psychiatrist, only after I told him my first encounter with it - had he supported my use as even I would have stated, what I did was irresponsible in some way.) Plus, there's such a grey area with the term of ''responsibility' usage. Moreso, I am bias in my perspective because those 'reasons' are the same reasons that lead people into abusing said drugs/system.
@Specialist_74 жыл бұрын
@@miipmiipmiip there are drugs you simply can't take responsibly. There is no "oh I'm just gonna do heroine or meth once a week" thing. There is also a significant difference between each drug, you can't just talk about them like one category. Sugar is a drug. Nicotine is a drug. Crack is a drug. Yet they are totally different. If we talk about hard drugs, there is only one way: do not try them.
@lynxaway4 жыл бұрын
@K A i think the point is that while what you said works in theory, enforcing it in real life has disastrous consequences. The only way to ensure that no one takes “hard drugs” is to punish addicts, and I don’t think I have to explain the kinds of outcomes that leads to or why they’re undesirable. In an ideal world, of course, no one would take heroin or meth or whatever at all, but we do not live in an ideal world, we live in the real world. And we do have ways for people to take those drugs responsibly, now that you mention it-in parts of Europe, I think, there are centers where you can take the drugs you need in a group setting, with medics/poison control/etc on call in case of an overdose, which is far preferable to people dying alone on the streets.

•ᴥ• Well it is her body and she made that choice which I fully support. And she isn't saying that she does all these drugs to be cool or prideful. Someone asked what drugs she has done and gave a straightforward answer. Different people deal with things in different ways. Some people will use drugs to help them when times get tough. Some use it purely for experimentation or self exploration. And so what if she's tried 10 or so substances? As I mentioned previously, it's her own body. It literally has 0 effect on you and many of the substances she named have little to no physical damage. Please step off your moral pedestal based upon fallacies.
@jonbidgood94036 жыл бұрын
That last WOMAN is fucking inspiring. Not because she is ok with doing all of these drugs, but because you can actually see her in this video start to come to terms with what may be a problem for her. Unlike some judgmental trolls, she is open about who she is because even with addiction, there should be no shame. •ᴥ• First, never said drugs were okay. Simply stated that I can see and understand why they do it. Secondly, you are privileged cause unlike some of these people, you can overcome your problems without the need of drugs (whether that be ones prescribed by a doctor or ones on the streets). Third, how are drugs an "easy way out?" Some are damaging themselves in order to continue on with life cause they still have a part of them that wants to get better and go through life without drugs. An 'easy way out' (in my opinion) would probably be to end life with your problems without even believing that there can be a better outcome one day. Like they said in the video, a majority of people who do drugs are just using it as a coping method cause they have either never been shown how else to deal with their pain/problems or can't find a method that works for them like drugs do.

I get the feeling that the people who think this is glorifying or lightly speaking about drug addiction did not watch the same vid I just did. I saw a shit load of pain, regret, mental illness and sadness. So think what you want because of the laughing or silly music, but it’s a good reminder that you have NO IDEA what the normal guy or girl in the cubicle next to you is doing to cope with their trauma or just make it thru the day. Pay attention to the context and the underlying message and less to the silly moments that people are clearly using to cover up their anxiety. You may learn a thing or two.
