I have experienced this first hand with asian parents. Asian parents need to realise being strict because you want the best for your kids won't always turn out good. Most of the times the kids end up being fearful of your judgement and don't want to talk to you about very serious stuff because you have a black and white opinion on things. If this girl just told her mom about him..and mom allowed her to live with him first before getting married - mom could have saved her child from going into a horrible marriage. Glad you cleared things up floresita I too felt cheated on when my bd got with someone else the 3 months we broke up. I would bring it up all the time it hurt me so badly that he’d be with someone else after me. The second time we broke up I did the same and dated others non exclusively. Now we’re back together and in a sense it’s like we’re even now even though that wasn’t my intention I just felt comfortable to finally move on and we never thought we’d get back together Lol. I hope it works out.
