I was raised by 100% mediterranean people in a mediterranean culture in a mediterranean country. Work IS fun, as long as you are fortunate enough to be able to understand two things: what things do you want in life, and what do you enjoy doing that can be turned into an steady income wielding profession. Most people go the wrong way about choosing a carrer; they go for the highest paying thing, when sometimes they don't even need or want the money, then live miserable off-work lives because their profession sucks the life outta them. I've been there. Working my ass off for 130k yearly, slowly killing my off-work life, and didn't even use the money for no big things. Now I still work my ass off, but bc I like it, for almost 50k a year. I love what I do and my life is 10x better, and I even have the energy to do more with my free time.

Most of them try to dress down, but there's one thing that no one can escape: the lure of quality. If you can afford a quality product, you will get that product. I would say the average i got was as you said 70-80k. But one of the RNs made supposedly 140k working at private prison and as one of the more senior nurses. So it might be possible, but it is completely not the normal and at the very highest range. I looked online and although it doesn't seem too reliable, it says RNs with "higher" titles can hit that range of 150k.

I do think it's kinda bs that "influencers" and "life coaches" and "content creators" make tons of money, while people who work essential jobs like teachers don't get paid nearly enough.
@dim97534 жыл бұрын
Cicero Progontus my comment was more about the fact that it sucks that monetary value doesn't go hand in hand with jobs that are essential for society or that impact in positive ways. If influencers ceased to exist, who gives a damn? We lived just fine before them, would be just fine without. But historically, the lack of education, health, safety and food services have severe consequences and yet policemen, nurses, teachers and agriculture workers are underpaid in most places.
