This is fantastic I am a mixed media artist myself and just love all the extra texture involved in this! I see so many people using a glue gun and I want to but I'm terrified of the glue breaking down over time and destroying my work! How long have you used the glue gun and have you had any issues with it after it's set for a very long amount of time? I want to know in 50 years my art will still be the best it can be. Id love to hear your thoughts on this. Gorgeous piece girl I just can't say enough about it ❤❤❤❤

Instead of gluing the bird, you might want to use modeling paste. Glue can get old, and it will eventually fall off.

Your birds and branches/trees always get me excited to get in my studio and try to make one like yours. You always have such good ideas and clever ways on how to create your wonderful art! Your little "Bully" (not a very good name, but it's the first thing that popped in my head😋) looks perfect on your background! I would never think to use those colors, but they are spot on! That's why you are the pro!😁 That Wedgewood blue/blue grey you make always pulls everything together. I'm neck deep in alcohol ink and loving it! But, this piece is definitely going to the top of my list when I'm tired of alcohol ink. I hope you are feeling OK with your throat.
